AUTISM SERVICES: LICENSED SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST OR CLINICAL FELLOW OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

FULL-TIME POSITION

Description: Full-time position, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at our Amherst location. Work in a school based setting with individuals on the autism spectrum ages 5-21 years old. Provide speech-language therapy and assessment. Competitive pay and excellent benefit package including great time off!

Requirements: MA/MS Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid N.Y.S. certification as a TSSLD/TSHH. Valid N.Y.S. license to practice as a speech-language pathologist and current N.Y.S. Registration. Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Clinical fellowship candidates considered.

Nazareth College: Clinical Assistant Professor; Clinic Manager, Speech and Language

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Department invites applications for a full-time  Clinic Assistant Professor/Clinic Manager position to begin in the Fall of 2021. The position  will be 10.5 months with a summer stipend. Some summer work will be required. The  Clinic Director plans, coordinates, and supervises those general activities that pertain to  the functioning of the Nazareth College Speech and Language Clinic. In addition, the Clinic  Director will teach at least one academic course per semester and will teach in the summer  as needed. The clinic director assumes other departmental duties such as departmental  committee work and attendance at department meetings, as assigned by the Department  chairperson. The CSD Department strongly supports the College’s commitment to diversity  and inclusion. QUALIFICATIONS 

⮚ Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders ⮚ American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) 

⮚ New York State License – Speech-Language Pathologist 

⮚ Five years of clinical experience in the B-21 population 

⮚ Experience working as part of an interprofessional team 

Preferences: 

⮚ NYS Teacher of Students with Speech & Language Disabilities (TSSLD/TSHH)  professional/permanent certification
