Speech Language Pathologist – Oral Deaf School

Buffalo Hearing & Speech has a unique opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in our Oral Deaf Education Program at our Buffalo location. Our program is proud to be 1 of only 7 Certified Moog Centers in the nation. The SLP serves an integral role and is responsible for building listening and spoken language skills with young children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing. This is a full time, year round position.

Required Education

  • Master’s degree from University/College of an ASHA accredited speech language pathology program

Required Licensure & Teaching Credentials

  • New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Holds NYS TSHH or TSSLD certification, or eligible
