Organization and Efficiency: Keys to Successful Data Collection

Data collection methods vary significantly from SLP to SLP, and from setting to setting. This presentation focuses on school-based therapy data collection, providing SLPs with an organized and efficient system to collecting and interpreting data. In addition, participants will be shown how well-written, measurable goals/objectives help make data collection more organized and efficient. Resources and information on how to incorporate technology into your data collection system(s) will be shared.
Learning Outcomes Participants will be able to:
1. Identify “keys” to successful data collection.
2. Identify ways to make data collection more organized and efficient.
3. Identify ways to write measurable goals/objectives to help make data collection more organized and efficient.
4. Identify resources that incorporate technology into their current or updated data collection systems.
