The Stroke Connection Peer Visitor Program is an education and wellness program about stroke, for stroke families. It is the premier stroke outreach service of the American Stroke Association for stroke survivors and their family caregivers. The program matches recovering stroke survivors and caregivers with persons and families recently affected by stroke. Through personal visits, Peer Visitors offer encouragement, advice and, most importantly, hope. Their own victory over brain attack is the best possible proof that life after stroke can be happy, productive, and independent.
Classes start March 3, 2007
